"LOCKED" is a short film & shoot directed by María Franco Darriba showcasing her poem "Self-love's Downside". This project portrays the solitude of self-imposed emotional seclusion and the human yearning for authentic love. In collaboration with XENESS Jewelry.

where am I?

Through the lens of poetic cinematography, "LOCKED" reveals the isolating shelter of self-love and the human yearning for authentic deep connections. It encourages introspection on personal boundaries and the fear of showing vulnerability.
The fragility and delicacy inherent in human nature often prompt us to overprotect ourselves within the cocoon we call self-love, inadvertently resulting in feelings of loneliness. Our hearts are meant to experience love and pain as we strive for our innate desire for profound relationships and unconditional love, all while cultivating personal limits and kindness.
This exploration hints at our quest for love woven into our substance, as our very existence consists of letting our inner world change as we invite people in.
